Born on November 1, 1973, Aishwarya Rai is currently one of the biggest names in Bollywood. She was born in Manglore in the state of Karnataka, India. Her parents Vrinda Rai and Krishnaraj are both Hindus. An owner of a picture perfect figure Aishwarya stands at 5 foot 7 inches tall. She started modeling at a young age and gained popularity with her garden advertisement and the Pepsi campaign. She was an arcitecture student before entering the glamour world. Rai has deep faith in God and friends and whenever at home lives with her parents in Mumbai and regularly visits Siddhivinayak Mandir, devoted to Ganesha.After doing several movies with Abhishek Bachchan, the son of Bollywood maestro Amithab Bachchan gossip columnists started linking her with him.
