Saif Ali Khan and Vivek Oberoi ran into trouble with some policemen while shooting in New York. Both the actors were almost arrested while shooting for the film. A source said, "Vivek and Saif were shooting in a hilly region in New York. It was a scene where both the actors had to drive a car and the camera was placed quite far as it was a long shot. The actors kept driving for a long time as they were required to give various takes as the scene was being shot from several angles. However, the locals, who had no clue that a film shoot was on, started getting suspicious when they saw the two Indians driving around aimlessly. They wasted no time in calling the cops who immediately came and started questioning Vivek and Saif.”Vivek and Saif told the policemen they were actors from India and were shooting for a film. However, the cops refused to believe them. Much to the frustration of the two actors, the cops flatly refused to believe that a shooting was on as there were no crew member or camera nearby. “Even though the production team saw what was happening on their monitors, and one of them immediately rushed to help, it took him a good 10 minutes before he could reach the actors. By then the cops had almost arrested them on suspicion and were all set to take them to the police station. However, the unit member rescued the actors in the nick of time. The cops only let them go after all the necessary documents were shown,” added the source.

London:Superstar Aamir Khan is all set to team up with Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet in an international film based on Saadat Hasan Manto’s famous partition story Toba Tek Singh, Femalefirst reported.The pair will star in the film, which is based on Manto’s take on the madness of partition in 1947. The story depicts the irony of the situation through the lunatics in a mental asylum in 1947.Aamir is said to have been impressed with the script and will play the character of a mentally retarded person in the asylum.If the actor agrees to work in the film, it would be his second movie on the subject. He had earlier starred in Deepa Mehta’s Earth-1947, which was an adaptation of Bapsi Sidhawa’s novel Ice Candyman.The film will be directed by India-born filmmaker Pan Nalin, who has earlier directed highly acclaimed film SamsaraNalin hopes to rope in Winslet for the project but if she rejects it, he will approach Rachel Weisz to play the role of Dr Sophie in the film, the website said."Either Kate or Rachel will be doing my film. I will be meeting both of them after my Cannes trip to finalise the casting. Either of them will be able to do justice to this marvelous story," Nalin said.

Asin’s longstanding wish will soon be fulfilled. While she was being pampered by everyone on the sets of London Dreams, Asin happened to tell co-star Salman Khan about her love for pets. A source from the unit said, “While chatting during a break, Asin told us all how she always wanted a pet dog when she was a child. However, her father Joseph Thottumkal always evaded the subject of bringing home a pet and kept promising her one when she turned 10 years old.Once she turned 10, he told her he’d get her one when she turns 15. Asin said that the years went by but she never got to keep a pet dog at home. Touched by her story, Salman, who is a dog lover, has been looking for a suitable pet, which he wants to gift to Asin,” added the source. When asked about Salman gifting Asin a pet dog, he said, “I have absolutely no idea about it.”

She was shooting for Money Money Hai Toh Honey Hai in Mauritius with Chi Chi Bhaiya, when she was diagnosed with lung infection and the doctors told me to get admitted to a hospital. But she didn't want her producers to suffer so she continued shooting in that condition. She was shivering with weakness and after every take her spot boy would come and hold her , but she didn't let her illness hamper her work,that she says.

Priyanka Chopra decided to work with Madhur Bhandarkar, a man known for his different kind of cinema, in his forthcoming film called Fashion. Now according to our sources, she has been approached for a woman oriented film.The film of whose script is complete will be directed by Superstar director Rohit Jugraj. Director says that, it is a female bonding film but will not be hard-hitting like Daman and other such similar films. It is a modern tale of two women and is based on their friendship.Rohit doesn’t want to comment on ther umours of Priyanka Chopra having been approached to play one of the leading roles.
