"Raavan" is the movie in the making simultaneously in Tamil and Hindi by director Manirathnam. Actress Priyamani is playing the role of Shurpanakha in this movie while Vikram in Tamil and Abhishek Bacchan in Hindi are playing the title role. Aishwarya Rai is playing as heroine in oth the languages. Priyamani is said to be dubbing her own voice in "Raavan". She dubbed in presence of Manirathnam for an emotional scene in the movie and got his applauds. She was so overwhelmed by the appreciation that, her eyes filled will tears of joy.
