amitabh bachchan always made his name for spiritual and devotional excellence. This is one of the rare incidents in his career that he almost cheated Srisailam temple management. As per a report, amitabh bachchan has attended the Srisailam Mallikarjuna Swami temple sometime in 2007. Along with Big B were Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek, Aishwarya Rai and Amar Singh. They participated in the Rudrabhisekham at Jyothirlingam and Kumkum Archana at this famous hill top temple. Before they left, amitabh bachchan has also sought a donation of Rs. 1 crore for gold plating of the temple’s Dhwaja Sthambam and immediately shelled out Rs. 11 Lakhs as advance payment. Temple authorities have been chasing amitabh bachchan through letters to get the remaining amount, but the actor has not responded yet. ‘It has been three years that we are waiting for the payment, but till now we haven’t got any intimation,’ said Temple EO. Well, this would accord to nothing less than cheating the Srisailam Temple as it is also known that Dhwaja Sthambahm at this world famous shrine is in a very bad stage and urgently needs 9 Kg of gold Plating. Let us hope that amitabh bachchan soon realize his mistake. |
