While it is a known fact that APARTMENT is a contemporary psycho-thriller set amidst life in a metropolis, there is also another interesting tale around how director Jagmohan Mundhra aspired for some real shock to translate on screen as well. In the film, lead actress Neetu Chandra was required to shoot a scene where she had to enter her bedroom and get startled on switching the lights. Just as the scene begun and Neetu switched on the lights, she was actually shocked to see her mom right in front of her. Neetu has been living alone since the time she has moved to Mumbai to fulfill her dreams and due to her hectic schedules she had not got a chance to visit her family.
