It was with great hype that the film ‘Leader’ hit the screens and given the combo of Daggubati Rana and Sekhar Kammula, the expectations were quite high. However, the response was quite mixed for the film and in a way, it became more like an average treat.
However, the story is different in the US market. As per the latest reports, it is reported that the exhibitors earned 30% - 40% profits even at smaller locations. Apparently, the Kammula brand worked its magic at the US box office and his flag is still flying high in the American market.
It is said that there is a much better preference to the directors than the actors so that’s why few movies work well.
It is also being said that ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ has done well in big centers and ran average in small centers.
On the other hand, the overseas rights of Maryada Ramanna being made in the direction of Rajamouli with Sunil in lead was sold out for Rs 1 Cr in overseas. |
