There is always a fine line between love and love failure. While the former takes you to cloud nine, the latter will put into a lifetime misery. Atleast, that’s the feeling of those who have experienced love failures in life.

Now, the recent release ‘Taj Mahal’ runs on similar lines and it has more to do with a love failure. While the general audience has given thumbs down to it, the film has been appealing a very select set. They are those who have gone through love failures and those who are touching nearly 40 and are yet to be married are connecting to this tragic love story.

However, those who have experienced such failures but are now married are not getting appealed. So, in a way, the film has been attracting the down and depressed and that’s one major reason why the film also has been getting depressing results. The film has created a lot of hype in the small screen circuit but the truth remains that it doesn’t have that sort of substance as the media channels are stating.

This is not to say that those who are unsuccessful in love or life and their feelings are negligible but then it is an air of negativity that has been cast. As the wise men say, there must be a pleasure in pain as well but that doesn’t seem to be the case with ‘Taj Mahal’.

Hero Sivaji who is known for his talent and handsome looks has not been able to perceive the film well and this happens to be a crucial one for him as it is his maiden production venture. The handling of sensitive subjects requires finesse which was missing completely. It is about time even those who have broken hearts and swollen feelings come out of the shell and move on with life instead of trying to swallow the bitter pill by watching such movies.
