Director Mani Ratnam’s trilingual film Ravan which is running behind schedule due to unavoidable circumstances, got new hurdle in the shape of actress Ranjitha. She is playing a role in his film and some portion of her role is remained balance for shooting. But, she was disappeared from Chennai, after her romantic video clippings were aired in a Tamil TV Channel. Mani Ratnam and his associates are trying to establish a contact with her, but in vain. She has switched off her cell phone fearing arrest by police. So far, Mani Ratnam is assuring the people that he will release his film in this summer, if possible before 1st week of April. But, with the latest developments it seems very difficult to release the film in the summer. Now, the whole unit is eagerly waiting for her to turn up soon.
