After completing his ongoing film Simha being directed by Boyapati Srinu and produced by Paruchuri Kireeti under the banner of United Movies, veteran hero Balakrisha will begin shooting of director Jayanth C. Paranji's film in which he plays the role of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who is credited to be the first freedom fighter in India as he revolted 10 years before the Sepoy Rebellion of 1857.
Jayanth, who directed two films with Balayya including the super hit Lakshmi Narasinha, will be producing this period epic. It is said that Balakrishna has, in principle, agreed to do the movie immediately after he completes his current flick Simha. Notably, Megastar Chiranjeevi wanted to act as Uyyalawada before he entered politics but could not do so.
