 Don't read too much into what is said above, what we are saying here is that Asin, the Mallu girl in Bollywood is following in the footsteps of another Mallu Priyadarshan. Priyadarshan is known for making rehashes of popular south films and presenting them to Bollywood audiences. Asin is also doing the same thing, though she is doing it in front of the camera.

After acting in the Hindi remake of Tamil film Ghazni, she has signed one other film which is the Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster Khaka Khaka. (This film was also made in Telugu as Gharshana with Venkatesh in the lead). Insider news is that there is more to follow. Asin is destined to do more south remakes in Hindi.

Now we don't know if that is good for her career, but surely she is following the footsteps of Priyadarshan.
