The shooting of Prabhas’s latest film ‘Ek Niranjan’ in the direction of Puri Jagannadh is under brisk progress. Bollywood hot beauty Kangana Ranaut is making her debut in Tollywood with this film. Aditya Ram is producing the film under Aditya Ram Movies banner. Mani Sharma is scoring the music for this film. A huge set costing Rs 3 Cr was erected in 8 acres open space at road No. 25, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.Speaking about the film producer Aditya Ram said: “Art director Chinna erected a huge set which resembles areas some areas in Hyderabad such as four roads near Clock Tower, Hanuman Temple, and Dhobi Ghat. He also constructed hero and heroine’s houses. We shot a song on Prabhas and Kangana Raunat in four different sets in Annapurna Studios. The film crew is going to Switzerland on 18th June to shoot a couple of songs on the lead pair. Saif Ali Khan and Vivek Oberoi ran into trouble with some policemen while shooting in New York. Both the actors were almost arrested while shooting for the film. However, the cops refused to believe them. Much to the frustration of the two actors, the cops flatly refused to believe that a shooting was on as there were no crew member or camera nearby. “Even though the production team saw what was happening on their monitors, and one of them immediately rushed to help, it took him a good 10 minutes before he could reach the actors. By then the cops had almost arrested them on suspicion and were all set to take them to the police station. However, the unit member rescued the actors in the nick of time. The cops only let them go after all the necessary documents were shown,” added the source.

Marking the Telugu debut of Bollywood beauty Kangna Ranaut, this big budget film has music by Mani Sharma. After playing a terrifying ghost in Arundhathi, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood dons yet another negative role in Ek Niranjan, touted to be an out-and-out commercial movie that gives equal importance to romance, action, fun and emotion. Ek Niranjan will complete production in a single schedule that continues till July. Also in the cast are Mukul Dev, Tanikella Bharani, Brahmanandam, Posani Krishna Murali, Ali and Sunil. London:Superstar Aamir Khan is all set to team up with Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet in an international film based on Saadat Hasan Manto’s famous partition story Toba Tek Singh, Femalefirst reported.The pair will star in the film, which is based on Manto’s take on the madness of partition in 1947. The story depicts the irony of the situation through the lunatics in a mental asylum in 1947.Aamir is said to have been impressed with the script and will play the character of a mentally retarded person in the asylum.If the actor agrees to work in the film, it would be his second movie on the subject. He had earlier starred in Deepa Mehta’s Earth-1947, which was an adaptation of Bapsi Sidhawa’s novel Ice Candyman.The film will be directed by India-born filmmaker Pan Nalin, who has earlier directed highly acclaimed film SamsaraNalin hopes to rope in Winslet for the project but if she rejects it, he will approach Rachel Weisz to play the role of Dr Sophie in the film, the website said."Either Kate or Rachel will be doing my film. I will be meeting both of them after my Cannes trip to finalise the casting. Either of them will be able to do justice to this marvelous story," Nalin said.

Vinayak’s untitled film which was stopped due to his accident.“There are three films on the floor at present including a film titled MLA directed by Puri Jagannath,” said an aide.

At the recent audio launch of Kandasamy, the trailer of the movie was screened with the kissing scene featuring lead actors Shriya and Vikram.
